On August 7, 2025, the Honor Board<\/strong> was opened for the first time at the State Archives of the Gomel Region<\/strong>. In a solemn atmosphere, Deputy Director of the Archive Zoya Aleksandrovich<\/strong> spoke with words of gratitude for conscientious work:<\/p>\n

\u00abMany glorious names have been inscribed in the history of our archive, and today the page in the annals has been replenished with the names of those who have achieved high results in their work. Today, in a solemn atmosphere, we honor those who give all their strength, knowledge and experience to the State Archives of the Gomel Region. We address words of congratulations to those whose portraits are on the Honor Board: Rashuk Elena Mikhailovna<\/strong>, Chief Accountant; Shurovskaya Olga Vladimirovna<\/strong>, Head of the Department of Information Retrieval Systems and Automated Archival Technologies; Chekan Valentina Anatolyevna<\/strong>, archivist of the 2nd qualification category of the department of accounting and ensuring the safety of documents; Burtseva Tatyana Alekseevna<\/strong>, archivist of the 1st qualification category of the department of accounting and ensuring the safety of documents; Kosteyko Zoya Anatolyevna<\/strong>, head of the economy, Lapatina Olga Nikolaevna<\/strong>, cleaner of the premises. I hope that in the future, even greater achievements await us all. It is important that our aspirations are provided with honest, conscientious work, which is the basis for the well-being of the family, society, and the state. I sincerely thank everyone who makes a worthy contribution to the development of our institution with their honest work\u00bb<\/em>, the deputy director<\/strong> congratulated her colleagues.<\/p>\n

Then the ceremonial event continued with the opening of new thematic stands, which were located in the lobby on the second floor of the institution. The stands entitled \u00abOur Achievements\u00bb<\/strong>, \u00abFrom the History of the Archive\u00bb<\/strong>, \u00abIdeological Work\u00bb<\/strong>, \u00abOur Publications\u00bb<\/strong> display photographs and information about the history of the archive, veterans, honorary archivists, and the team’s achievements that we are proud of. The stand about ideological work displays photographs that tell about the team’s participation in the public life of the state in 2025. The stand \u00abOur Publications\u00bb<\/strong> displays publications by archive employees in the media and collections of documents published by the archive, which visitors to the institution can read.<\/p>\n

The opening of thematic stands became an organic continuation of the work to create an information space in the archival institution in which the ideological culture of the archivist’s personality is formed, good traditions are preserved, and conditions are created for bright ideas and bold plans that can contribute to the development and prosperity of our Motherland.<\/p>\n
