On August 5, 2025, the workforce of the institution \u00abBelarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Affairs\u00bb headed by Deputy Director for Research S.S. Mishuk<\/strong> took part in the dialogue platform \u00abGenocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb, which was held at the Minsk State Palace of Children and Youth.<\/p>\n

An informational and overview excursion \u00abMemory and Pain of the Belarusian Land\u00bb was held for the BelNIIDAD employees.<\/p>\n

The speakers of the dialogue platform were the chairman of the Central District Organization of Veterans of Minsk of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans, deputy of the Minsk City Organization of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan \u00abMemory\u00bb G.P.Atamanov<\/strong>, assistant to the prosecutor of the Central District of Minsk E.S.Konankova<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the dialogue, attention was focused on the need to preserve historical memory and prevent the rewriting of history, which is especially relevant in the context of increasing attempts to falsify the events of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

During the discussion, issues of perpetuating the memory of the victims of genocide, as well as the formation of a sense of patriotism and respect for the heroic past of the country in the younger generation were touched upon. The importance of using modern technologies and multimedia resources to effectively convey knowledge about the tragic events of the war was emphasized.<\/p>\n

Particular attention was paid to the role of the media in shaping public opinion about the genocide of the Belarusian people. Participants in the dialogue platform expressed the need for more active coverage of this topic in the media, as well as support for documentary and artistic projects dedicated to the tragic events of the war.<\/p>\n

At the end of the discussion, the participants came to the conclusion about the need to consolidate the efforts of the state, public organizations and the scientific community to further study and popularize knowledge about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n
