During the Great Patriotic War, in order to save the territory of the city of Orsha from the fascist invaders, on July 14, 1941, a platoon under the command of <strong>Captain Ivan Andreevich Flerov<\/strong> opened a battery of rocket artillery \u00ab<strong>Katyusha\u00bb (BM-13)<\/strong> near the village of Pishchalovo.<\/p>\n<p>Within a few seconds, shots were aimed at the occupied city railway station in Orsha, and this was enough to destroy a large number of enemy forces and military equipment and prevent the fascists from advancing further on Smolensk.<\/p>\n<p>In memory of this event, the memorial complex <strong>\u00abFor Our Soviet Motherland\u00bb (\u00abKatyusha\u00bb)<\/strong> was created.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\"  width=\"100%\" cellpadding=\"5\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"gen_table\">\n<tr align='center'>\n<td align='center'><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1-59.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1073315\" class=\"wp-image-1073315 alignnone size-full\" width=\"50%\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align='center'>1.
