On July 2, 2025, the Glubokoe Historical and Ethnographic Museum<\/strong> held a grand opening of the exhibition \u00abMemory of Generations for the Sake of the Future\u00bb<\/strong> dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. The exposition was located in the new areas of the museum.<\/p>\n

The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the ideological support department of the personnel policy and ideological support department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Nikolaevich Skomoroschenko<\/strong> and the director of the Begoml Museum of National Glory Olga Mikhailovna Talyarenok<\/strong>. The head of the scientific and technical processing of documents department of the state National Archives of the Republic of Belarus Olga Vasilyevna Skomoroschenko<\/strong> spoke about the scale of the tragedy of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War and presented the exhibition \u00abWe stood firm and won\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>. Representative of the institution \u00abBelarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents\u00bb, leading archivist of the Department of Use of Documents and Information Elena Ivanovna Tretyak<\/strong> transferred to the museum funds a fragment of the sound recording of the memories of the former chief of staff of the tank brigade of the 1st tank corps Vasily Dmitrievich Glushakov about the battle in the area of Glubokoye, Vitebsk region.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, Deputy Chairperson of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee Tatyana Leonidovna Tarasevich<\/strong> emphasized the importance of the new exhibition for preserving historical memory and presented Letters of Gratitude for assistance in creating the exhibition to Mikhail Nikolaevich Skomoroschenko, Olga Vasilyevna Skomoroschenko, Olga Mikhailovna Talyarenok and Elena Ivanovna Tretyak<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
