On June 27, 2025, employees of the institution \u00abState Archives of the Mogilev Region\u00bb<\/strong> took part in the XIV International scientific and practical conference \u00abHistory of Mogilev: Past and Present\u00bb<\/strong>, organized by the Museum of the History of Mogilev<\/strong> with the support of the Department of Culture of the Mogilev City Executive Committee<\/strong> and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. <\/p>\n

Leading archivists of the Department of Scientific Use of Documents and Information Alexander Petukhov and Alexey Shvyryov<\/strong> presented reports on \u00abPersonnel of the patented Mogilev lakamable plant in the terms of the permanent establishment of the national gastronomy\u00bb<\/strong> and \u00abOrganization of population participation in the restoration of the socio-economic life of Mogilev after liberation from Nazi occupation\u00bb<\/strong>. Both reports are based on archival documents and reflect the period of post-war restoration of Mogilev.<\/p>\n

The scientific forum brought together scientists, archaeologists, local historians, historians, archivists, museum workers, and students. The participants of the event discussed the socio-political and ethno-cultural aspects of the history of the Dnieper region. Following the conference, a collection of scientific articles by the participants was published.<\/p>\n

After the conference, its participants attended the opening of an art exhibition following the plein air \u00abMogilev on the canvases of Russian artists\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
