On June 27, the State Archives of the Mogilev Region<\/strong> hosted a presentation of the cultural and educational project \u00abWith Pride About the City: War Letters Come to Life\u00bb<\/strong> dedicated to the Mogilev City Day and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event was held as part of the educational project \u00abArchives for School\u00bb, aimed at military-patriotic education of youth and perpetuating the memory of the heroic past of the Belarusian people. The event was attended by students – members of creative teams of the educational institution \u00abMogilev State College of Arts\u00bb: the \u00abAtmosphere\u00bb theater, the \u00abDrama.ART\u00bb theater studio, the \u00abOKNO\u00bb art studio, the \u00abVozdushnye\u00bb vocal ensemble, as well as representatives of the Main Department of Justice of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee and its structural divisions. Young talents brought to life military letters from personal collections stored in the archive with their performances. Through songs that evoke the memory of those harsh and difficult days, and through works of art where digital copies of letters became the basis for creating paintings, the students were able to convey to the audience the full depth of feelings and experiences captured in these historical documents. Letters from the war years are not just archival documents. These are long-awaited news from the front or from home, the only connecting thread between loved ones, hope for life and the approach of the Great Victory. The unique format of the event allowed young participants and guests to touch history, feel the connection of times and realize the value of peace and freedom. The project \u00abWith pride about the city: letters of war brought to life\u00bb became a striking example of the effective use of archival materials for the purpose of military-patriotic education of the younger generation.<\/p>\n
