On June 26, 2025, Director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) E.A. Makarenko<\/strong> took part in the Round Table \u00abScientist – Innovator, Teacher, Warrior (on the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Kim Borisovich Gelman-Vinogradov<\/strong>)\u00bb. The event was a joint initiative of the History Department of BSU and the History and Archives Institute of the Russian State Humanitarian University. The forum was held in person and remotely at the History Department of BSU.<\/p>\n

Kim Borisovich is known in the circles of archivists and document scientists as a scientist, teacher, who trained several generations of historians. This event served as an effective platform for uniting Belarusian and Russian researchers for a common search for solutions to pressing issues in the field of archival, document and source studies.<\/p>\n

The Round Table was attended by teachers and specialists from leading educational and scientific institutions of the Union State, including the director of VNIIDAD, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor P.A.Kyung<\/strong>, head of the department of automated systems of the preschool educational institution RSUH, doctor of historical sciences, professor M.V.Larin<\/strong>, deputy general director for scientific and methodological work of OOO DIMI-CENTER, doctor of historical sciences Yu.Yu.Yumasheva<\/strong> and others. From the Belarusian side – dean of the history faculty of BSU A.G.Kokhanovsky<\/strong>, head of the department of source studies, professor S.N.Khodin<\/strong>, professor M.F.Shumeiko<\/strong> and associate professor T.D.Gernovich<\/strong>, director of BelNIIDAD A.E.Rybakov<\/strong> and others. The experts discussed the broad professional legacy of Kim Gelman-Vinogradov, his contribution to the development of historical science, as well as the relevance of the professor’s ideas in a modern context.<\/p>\n
