A series of film lectures with a screening of the documentary film \u00abHistory of the Great Victory\u00bb was held at the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno<\/strong> as part of the republican campaign \u00abArchives for Schools\u00bb, as well as excursions and master classes aimed at introducing schoolchildren to archival work and historical heritage. For several days, the archive was visited by 4th and 5th grade students of the health camp \u00abSunny City\u00bb of the State Educational Institution \u00abSecondary School No.12 of Molodechno\u00bb. A sightseeing tour with a visit to the archive storage facility was organized for the children, where they learned about the process of storing documents and saw the most significant archival materials. An important element of the program was a master class on filing cases, which allowed the participants to try themselves in the role of archivists and appreciate the painstaking work of preserving historical evidence. The meetings concluded with a screening of a documentary film, which gave the children a deeper understanding of the events of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

Such events help involve the younger generation in the process of studying and preserving historical memory, form respect for the work of archivists and help to understand the value of documentary heritage.
