On June 16, 2025, in order to popularize and draw attention to the importance of preserving historical memory, an event dedicated to the children’s media association \u00abBoomerang\u00bb was held at the State Educational Institution \u00abDzerzhinsk Gymnasium\u00bb. The meeting was attended by the chief accountant of the archive, a representative of the \u00abChildren of the Archive\u00bb team I.Yu.Sargan<\/strong>, a member of the \u00abChildren of the Archive\u00bb team Gleb Arinovich, the head of the department for the use of documents and information O.M.Dzhenzhera<\/strong>, the first director of the Dzerzhinsk Gymnasium N.V.Miron<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Irina Yuryevna Sargan made an opening speech. She spoke about the competition, the technologies for filming films using archival footage, and the origin of the idea of the children’s media work \u00abSo that they remember…\u00bb., based on the memoirs of Nikolai Vladimirovich Miron.<\/p>\n

Gleb Arinovich shared his impressions of the trip to the International Children’s Center \u00abArtek\u00bb, spoke about the creation of the media work \u00abNina Khrabrova – a hero for all times\u00bb, which the team created in the camp. The media work was about children and pioneer leaders who survived the longest military Artek shift (1301 days), which took first place among media works.<\/p>\n

Nikolai Vladimirovich Miron spoke about his childhood, about the difficult and terrible events of those years, about the feat of our partisans, about the need to preserve historical memory. He advised the children to spend less time on gadgets.<\/p>\n

Oksana Mikhailovna Dzhenzhera spoke about the chronicle, which is stored in the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, invited the children to take part in a media marathon, to demonstrate their masterful qualities.<\/p>\n

As an example, media works of children from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus were presented. These historical and documentary projects have been recognized as the National Heritage of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus and have been transferred to the state archives of the two countries for safekeeping.<\/p>\n
