On June 13, 2025, as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign and the International Archives Week<\/strong> (June 9-13, 2025), an educational tour was held at the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa<\/strong> for students of Secondary School No.10 in Rechitsa<\/strong> attending the \u00abTrudovik\u00bb labor and recreation camp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the tour, the boys and girls visited archive storage facility No.2, where T.V.Frolova, a 2nd qualification category archivist of the Department of Preservation and State Accounting of Documents<\/strong>, showed them the most interesting documents and told them about the conditions for their storage. In the archive’s reading room, S.A.Zharnosenko, a leading archeographer of the Department of Information and Use of Documents<\/strong>, explained how the archive works with citizens and what is needed to obtain the profession of an archivist. Publications from the scientific reference library of the archive, as well as documents of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and letters from the war years were demonstrated at exhibitions.<\/p>\n

The students were shown a documentary film \u00abThe History of the Great Victory\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared on the basis of newsreel materials stored in the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong>. After the film session, the children received small gifts – business cards with a QR code BGAKFFD, by clicking on which you can watch documentaries created by this archive.<\/p>\n
