Its opening was the vernissage of the exhibition <strong>\u00abYour fellow countrymen are famous for their feat\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared based on the personal documents of the participant of the Great Patriotic War, labor veteran, <strong>Vasily Petrovich Khaletsky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A training seminar was held for representatives of organizations of the Oktyabrsky district on the topic <strong>\u00abExpertise of the value of documents. Drawing up an act on the allocation for destruction of documents and files that are not subject to storage\u00bb<\/strong> with a sightseeing tour of the archive.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the <strong>\u00abArchives &#8211; to school\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, a thematic lesson <strong>\u00abMy homeland Belarus in faces\u00bb<\/strong> was held for 7th-grade students of the State Educational Institution <strong>\u00abSecondary School No.5 of Zhlobin\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On International Archives Day, the state archive of the city of Zhlobin opened its doors to everyone. As part of the <strong>\u00abOpen Doors Day\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, free consultations on archive services were organized for citizens \u2014 specialists were happy to answer questions, help navigate the documents, strengthening trust and interest in preserving documentary heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Particular attention was paid to young visitors \u2014 they had a fascinating lesson <strong>\u00abLearning More About Archives\u00bb<\/strong>. In a playful way, the children got acquainted with the basics of the archive\u2019s work, learned how important documents are stored and why it is so important to treat history with care.
