As part of the advanced training courses organized by the Belarusian State University<\/strong>, on May 20, 2025, a round table on the topic \u00abModern Trends in Records Management and Archival Affairs\u00bb was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> under the leadership of Deputy Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management<\/strong> of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus A.E.Tsvetkov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Opening the round table, A.E.Tsvetkov spoke about new forms of using archival documents, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in the work of archivists, modern trends in the preparation of exhibition projects\u2013 stand and virtual, the development of scientific activities, the development of new areas of publishing activities. Alexey Evgenievich paid special attention to the use of personnel technologies in the selection of personnel and the use of the potential of young archivists. Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus E.A.Stukanova<\/strong> briefly spoke about the main areas of the archive’s activities, emphasizing its success in exhibition and publication activities.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by the heads of the structural divisions of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, who answered questions from colleagues and then conducted a tour of the archive.<\/p>\n

Professional meetings of this kind always have a positive effect, since they give archivists from different regions the opportunity to meet, share experiences, ask pressing questions and find answers to them together.<\/p>\n
