More than 2,000 people died in the village of Borki that day. These were residents of Borki and surrounding villages. The village of Borki was revived over time, but many other villages disappeared from the map of Belarus forever after the tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>Archive employees, paying tribute to the dead and preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War, honored the memory of innocently killed civilians.
