On May 13, 2025, the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) hosted the grand opening of the exhibition \u00abEvery role is the main one\u00bb dedicated to the 120th anniversary of People’s Artist of Belarus Stefania Stanyuta.<\/p>\n

BGAMLI Director Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko addressed the audience with a welcoming speech and noted the importance of preserving the documentary heritage of the actress for research. Stefania Mikhailovna’s colleagues – People’s Artists of Belarus Maria Zakharevich and Zinaida Zubkova shared warm memories of Stefania, her sublimity and at the same time human simplicity. Numerous stories from theatrical life were told, which revealed Stefania Stanyuta in various roles and friendly relations with the actors of the Kupala Theater. Theater scholar and film critic Nelly Krivosheeva recreated a large list of the actress’s roles for the audience, and spoke about the respect that famous artists have for her.<\/p>\n

At the event, Nelly Abramovna donated homemade jewelry that Stefania Stanyuta made with her own hands to the archive-museum funds. They will complement the collection of museum items in the actress’s fund.<\/p>\n

The curator of the exhibition Natalia Mizon drew the attention of those present to the documents presented, which testify to the difficult and interesting fate of Stefania Stanyuta. The event was attended by relatives of the great actress: brother Vladimir Mikhailovich Stanyuta, daughter-in-law Irina Alekseyevna Mikhailova-Stanyuta, grandson Dmitry Aleksandrovich Stanyuta. They shared family memories.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere in the crowded hall of the BGAMLI resembled a sold-out theater, thanks to the fans of Stefania Stanyuta’s talent.<\/p>\n
