In May 2025, the 120th anniversary of the birth of the actress of the Kupala stage, People’s Artist of the BSSR and the USSR Stefania Mikhailovna Stanyuta was celebrated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the theater stage, S.M.Stanyuta played about 200 roles, and she acted in films since 1958. Films with her participation – \u00abThe Lion’s Grave\u00bb, \u00abAbout Little Red Riding Hood\u00bb, \u00abTime Chose Us\u00bb, \u00abAtlantes and Caryatids\u00bb, \u00abWhite Dews\u00bb and many others are well known and loved by viewers.<\/p>\n

On the YouTube channel of BGAKFFD<\/strong><\/a>, for the 120th anniversary of the birth of People’s Artist of the BSSR and the USSR Stefania Mikhailovna Stanyuta, a promotional video for the exhibition \u00abDedicated to Acting\u00bb was posted.<\/p>\n

At present, the funds of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> contain more than 60 units of photographic documents from 1940 to 2000, about 20 units of film documents from 1960 to 2000, and sound documents from 1962 to 1986, related to the life and work of S.M.Stanyuta.<\/p>\n

Photo and film documents (stories from the newsreels \u00abSavetskaya Belarus\u00bb, \u00abMastatstva Belarusi\u00bb, documentaries \u00abSlavny Shlyakh\u00bb, 1960, \u00abZhytstse na stsene\u00bb, 1966, \u00abPervaya Scena\u00bb, 1990, \u00abFrigate Melpameny\u00bb, 1996, chronicle material \u00abPeople\u2019s Artist of the BSSR S.Stanyuta\u00bb, 1982) allow us to see the actress performing her various roles, among her colleagues on stage, in a home environment.<\/p>\n

The archive\u2019s sound library contains recordings of the radio broadcasts \u00abSustrechy u Radestudyi\u00bb, a conversation between the correspondent of the Belarusian Radio V.Mekhov and the People\u2019s Artist of the BSSR, an actress of the Belarusian State Academic Theater named after Ya.Kupala S.M.Staniuta about her work and \u00abTalent of the Deep People\u00bb, also dedicated to the work of the actress. In addition, the archive funds contain numerous recordings of radio plays with the participation of S.M.Staniuta.<\/p>\n

The work of the People’s Artist of the BSSR and the USSR S.M.Staniuta remained not only on film, the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> stores the painting of her father Mikhail Staniuta \u00abPortrait of a Daughter\u00bb<\/strong>. The son of the actress, literary scholar, writer, doctor of philological sciences Alexander Staniuta dedicated the book \u00abStephanie\u00bb<\/strong> to her life and work. In memory of the actress, a memorial plaque was installed on March 27, 2003 on house No.19 on Skaryna Avenue (now Nezavisimosti) in Minsk.<\/p>\n
