On May 6, representatives of the labor collectives of the Main Department of Justice of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee and the Departments of Compulsory Enforcement of the Mogilev Region<\/strong> visited the institution \u00abState Archives of the Mogilev Region\u00bb<\/strong> as part of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The participants of the excursion visited the archive storage facilities, where they were able to get acquainted with modern technologies that meet modern standards and technical requirements necessary for the storage and use of documents.<\/p>\n

The guests were presented with a banner exhibition \u00abAgain, let’s look closer to the past\u00bb<\/strong>. Archival documents and photographs dedicated to the history of the period of the Great Patriotic War and post-war reconstruction aroused keen interest among those present. The excursion continued with a visit to the reading room, where the guests were able to ask archivists questions regarding documents and their search in the archive. <\/p>\n

At the end of the event, the excursion participants got acquainted with the exhibition of the most interesting archival documents related to the period of the Great Patriotic War. Then there was a demonstration of the documentary film \u00abThe History of the Great Victory\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n
