On May 5, 2025, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, employees of the institution \u00abState Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region\u00bb<\/strong> took part in the launch of the train \u00abOn the way to Victory\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The project was created on the initiative of the leadership of the city executive committee and the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Railways<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Its passengers will be about 400 residents of the city, who from May 5 to 8 will be able to take a fascinating journey along the Gomel-Klenki-Gomel<\/strong> route, during which they will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the historical facts of the liberation of the Gomel region from the Nazi invaders. The project participants will also enjoy concert programs, quizzes, and joint performance of songs.<\/p>\n

In three carriages of the branded train, the railway workers recreated a special atmosphere, remembering the war heroes who gave us the Great Victory at the cost of their lives.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, the archive employees visited an exhibition with a demonstration of artillery guns and a steam locomotive from the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n
