One of the files of this fund includes operational reports of the Soviet Information Bureau, dated October 1, 1943\u2013 December 31, 1944 and reflecting the process of liberation of Belarus from the Nazis by the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War of 1941\u20131945.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, there are Sovinformburo reports (F.163. Op. 1. d. 1. L. 33, 35, 38, 40) containing information about the battles for the liberation of the current territory of the Gomel region in November 1943, including the cities of the region &#8211; Rechitsa, Vasilevichi (both &#8211; November 18), Khoyniki (November 24), Yelsk, Chechersk (both &#8211; November 27) and the regional center Gomel (November 26).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\"  width=\"100%\" cellpadding=\"5\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"gen_table\">\n<tr align='center'>\n<td align='center'><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1-323.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1069623\" class=\"wp-image-1069623 alignnone size-full\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align='center'>1.
