Every year on April 26, a memorable date is celebrated – Chernobyl Tragedy Day in Belarus. On this day, people are remembered who courageously fulfilled their duty, risking their health and lives, and eliminated the consequences of the man-made disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.<\/p>\n

It is the duty of each of us to remember the feat of people who fought against the nuclear disaster and protected generations from the global consequences of the disaster.<\/p>\n

Employees of the institution \u00abState Archives of the Mogilev Region\u00bb<\/strong> honored the memory of the liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster in the Bykhov district near the memorial sign \u00abTo fellow countrymen – liquidators of the Chernobyl accident\u00bb. On the sides of the huge boulder are two black granite slabs. One depicts a medal of a participant in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident. On the other – an exploded reactor, black birds, dark clouds, a radiation hazard sign and the words: \u00abBudze, budze da skonu me Chernobyl balets\u00bb.<\/p>\n

April 26, 1986 remains the most terrible day in the history of nuclear energy. Humanity has learned a lesson from this terrible tragedy and is now doing everything to ensure that such a thing never happens again.<\/p>\n
