On April 25, 2025, employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> took part in the information and educational platform \u00abPreservation of Historical Memory and Truth about the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>, organized by the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Administration of the Moscow District of Minsk<\/strong> in the large hall of the Pioneer cinema<\/strong>. The event included a speech by N.P. Krapivin<\/strong>, Chairman of the Youth Council under the Administration of the Moscow District of Minsk<\/strong>, a presentation of early printed publications of the Presidential Library, a screening and discussion of the films \u00abDeath Camps\u00bb<\/strong> and \u00abBurnt Villages\u00bb<\/strong> by the Belarusfilm studio<\/strong>, as well as the film \u00abHistory of the Great Victory\u00bb<\/strong>, created by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> with the participation of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>. The main participants of the platform were senior school students of the Moscow district of Minsk.<\/p>\n

The film \u00abThe History of the Great Victory\u00bb<\/strong> was presented by D.S. Samokhvalov<\/strong>, a leading researcher at the Belarusian State Archives of Literature and Art<\/strong>. He spoke about the work of Belarusian archives to preserve the memory of the Belarusian people, and at the end of the screening answered questions from the youth.<\/p>\n

Representatives of the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Administration of the Moscow district of Minsk<\/strong> thanked the employees of the archive-museum for participating in the event and expressed a keen interest in continuing cooperation with the Belarusian State Archives of Literature and Art<\/strong> and other archival institutions in educating the younger generation.<\/p>\n
