This date has gone down in the history of Belarus and all of humanity as one of the most tragic pages of the 20th century.<\/p>\n<p>The Chernobyl disaster is reflected in a number of works of Belarusian culture and art. The funds of <strong>the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> contain many creative documents of literary figures that are dedicated to this topic: the novel by Ivan Shamyakin \u00abThe Evil Star\u00bb, the documentary story by Vasily Gigevich and Oleg Chernov \u00abThe Waters of Gorkiya Began\u00bb, the story by Yuri Stankevich \u00abThe Pruzi\u00bb, the story by Taisiya Bondar \u00abWe Have an Egg and a Son\u00bb, the story by Ivan Ptashnikov \u00abLions\u00bb, the play by Nikolai Matukovsky \u00abUnfortunate Events\u00bb, the poem by Vladimir Skorinkin \u00abNobody Mows the Meadows Near Chernobyl\u00bb, the poem by Nikolai Kupreev \u00ab26 Beauties\u00bb, the poem by Gennady Pranevich \u00abChernobyl Epilogue\u00bb, various articles and notes. On this day, we pay tribute to those who stopped the radiation disaster, prevented the development of the catastrophe, sacrificed themselves, fulfilling their professional duty.
