On April 23, 2025, the opening of the joint exhibition \u00abImages of the Great Victory in Belarusian Cinema\u00bb took place in the art gallery \u00abUniversity of Culture\u00bb<\/strong> based on the documents of the National Film Studio \u00abBelarusfilm\u00bb<\/strong> from the funds of the Belarusian State Film and Photo Archives<\/strong>. The organizers of the exhibition were: the institution \u00abBelarusian State Film and Photo Archives\u00bb<\/strong>, the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers<\/strong>, the Center for Research of Belarusian Culture<\/strong>, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus<\/strong>, the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus and the art gallery \u00abUniversity of Culture\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The director of the Belarusian State Film and Photo Archives of Belarus A.N.Gonchar<\/strong>, the General Director of the UP \u00abKinovideoprokat\u00bb V.M.Karachevsky<\/strong> addressed the guests of the exhibition with a welcoming speech.<\/p>\n

The exposition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The BGAKFFD exposition includes photo documents of the National Film Studio Belarusfilm, as well as from the collection of director N.N.Maidanskaya<\/strong> (photo by N.V.Gnisyuk<\/strong>), E.F.Koktysh<\/strong>, photo chronicles of BelTA and the newspaper \u00abZvyazda\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The photo collection presents little-known photo documents from the filming of Belarusfilm films about the Great Patriotic War: \u00abThe Clock Stopped at Midnight\u00bb (1958, director N. Figurovsky); \u00abAcross the Cemetery\u00bb (1964), \u00abI Come from Childhood\u00bb (1966), \u00abWar Under the Roofs\u00bb (1967), \u00abSons Go to Battle\u00bb (1968, all four – director V. Turov); \u00abAlpine Ballad\u00bb (1965).<\/p>\n

The exhibition is located in the Art Gallery \u00abUniversity of Culture\u00bb at the address: Minsk, pl. Oktiabrskaya, 1 and will be available to visitors from April 23 to May 17, 2025.<\/p>\n
