{"id":1019323,"date":"2025-04-24T16:31:56","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T13:31:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1019323"},"modified":"2025-04-24T16:31:56","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T13:31:56","slug":"remembrance-day-patriotism-lesson-at-secondary-school-no-2-in-rechitsa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1019323","title":{"rendered":"Remembrance Day: Patriotism Lesson at Secondary School No.2 in Rechitsa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 24, 2025, as part of the <strong>\u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, the <strong>\u00abSchool of Active Citizen\u00bb<\/strong> project and <strong>Remembrance Day<\/strong> dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory, <strong>the Rechitsa State Archives<\/strong> held a patriotism lesson at <strong>Secondary School No.2 in Rechitsa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The topic of the first part of the lesson was <strong>\u00abDoctor Khluss &#8211; a man and a street\u00bb<\/strong>. Rechitsa archivists told students in grades 8-9 about the archive&#8217;s founder &#8211; <strong>surgeon, Honored Doctor of the BSSR Porfiry Matveyevich Khluss<\/strong>, after whom a street in Rechitsa is named. His path in the civil, Soviet-Finnish and Great Patriotic War, his contribution as a doctor to the Victory over fascism and to the healthcare system of Belarus were described in detail. The students were presented with documents of P.M. Khluss on the assignment of the titles \u00abHonored Doctor of the BSSR\u00bb and \u00abHonorary Citizen of Rechitsa\u00bb, newspaper publications, a certificate of completion of the medical institute, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The second part of the lesson was held in the form of a film session.
