On April 23, 2025, representatives of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI<\/strong>) took part in a joint event of the Pioneer cinema, the Council of Veterans and the Youth Council of the Moscow District of Minsk organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers \u00abRelay of Generations\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

The dialogue platform \u00abRelay of Generations\u00bb included speeches by N.S.Kolesnikovich<\/strong>, Chairman of the Moscow District of Minsk organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers, N.F.Chernyak, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Pedagogical Labor of the Moscow District, and the ensemble \u00abOt vsekh dushchi\u00bb. The meeting included a screening of the films \u00abDeath Camps\u00bb by the Belarusfilm studio and \u00abThe History of the Great Victory\u00bb created by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the participation of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n

The film \u00abThe History of the Great Victory\u00bb was presented by D.S.Samokhvalov, a leading researcher at the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong>. He spoke about the activities of Belarusian directors and cameramen during the war and the activities of Belarusian archives to preserve social memory. The films aroused great interest among the participants of the event, becoming an occasion for deep reflection on the significance of the Victory for our country.<\/p>\n
