By Decree No.1 of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko, 2025 was declared the Year of Improvement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> has prepared a virtual exhibition for the Year of Improvement. A video for the virtual exhibition is posted on the YouTube channel of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

At present, the funds of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents contain a huge layer of film and photo documents related to urban and rural improvement \u2013 street and courtyard repairs by residents of cities and towns, landscaping, putting residential and public infrastructure in order, building highways, and much more.<\/p>\n

Similar stories are presented in the newsreels \u00abSavetskaya Belarus\u00bb, \u00abNaviny Dnya\u00bb, the documentary film \u00abPoleskie Gorizonty\u00bb, 1975, in the information programs \u00abKontury\u00bb and \u00abNedelya\u00bb. In 2025, large-scale measures will be taken, including to restore order on the land, improve settlements, industrial facilities, and maintain the territories along highways and railways in proper condition.<\/p>\n

The Year of Improvement is intended to unite the efforts of the state and society to further improve the quality of life in the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n
