On April 22, 2025, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI<\/strong>) and the State Educational Institution \u00abSecondary School No.44 named after Yakub Kolas\u00bb<\/strong>, a literary meeting was held for senior students dedicated to modern Belarusian literature.<\/p>\n

The main goal of the event was to introduce schoolchildren to current trends in Belarusian literature.<\/p>\n

The famous Belarusian poetess, prose writer, publicist, and journalist Lyudmila Ivanovna Rublevskaya <\/strong>acted as an invited guest. Her visit allowed the children to directly communicate with the creator of modern Belarusian literature, learn about her writing experience, sources of inspiration, and the process of working on books.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Lyudmila Ivanovna talked about her work, shared the secrets of writing and answered numerous questions from schoolchildren about their favorite authors, literary heroes and how to find their way in literature. The children actively participated in the discussion of modern literary trends, shared their impressions of the works they had read and asked the writer questions.<\/p>\n

In turn, the director of the BGAMLI Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko<\/strong> presented information about the funds of the archive-museum dedicated to modern Belarusian literature and spoke about the possibilities of using archival materials in educational and research work.<\/p>\n

The literary meeting turned out to be not only an educational, but also an inspiring event for schoolchildren. The archive-museum plans to continue holding similar off-site events in cooperation with schools and other educational institutions.<\/p>\n

After the meeting, the guests of the event visited the school museum named after Yakub Kolas<\/strong>, where they were able to see the exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the great Belarusian writer.<\/p>\n
