On April 19, 2025, the Zubran Research Center<\/strong>, as part of the republican campaign \u00abEvery Belarusian Should See This\u00bb<\/strong>, hosted the premiere of a film trilogy dedicated to the memory of the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people. The author of the idea and curator of the project is the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>, production – RUE \u00abNational Film Studio \u00abBelarusfilm\u00bb<\/strong>, the directors of the film are Alexander Anisimov and Vladimir Lutsky<\/strong>. On this significant day, when the country remembers the tragic events of the past, the students and staff of the center were able to see two films: \u00abDeath Camps\u00bb<\/strong> and \u00abBurnt Villages\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Before the screening, a video message from the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanovich Shved<\/strong> was shown. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory and understanding the scale of the tragedy that affected millions of lives.<\/p>\n

The film trilogy plunged the center’s staff and students into the dark pages of Belarusian history during the Great Patriotic War. The films tell about the suffering of civilians, mass repressions, and the destruction of entire villages, which left a deep mark on the people’s memory.<\/p>\n

The premiere was attended by the honored veteran of the National Film Studio \u00abBelarusfilm\u00bb, member of the Myadel District Organization of the Public Association \u00abBelarusian Union of Officers\u00bb O.Zhirny<\/strong>. Oleg Ivanovich noted the importance of such projects for the formation of public consciousness and the cultivation of respect for history. According to him, the chronicle of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> was used in the filming of the films.<\/p>\n
