Pushkin<\/strong> and <strong>the State Archives of the Minsk Region <\/strong>took part in the project. War letters will be read live on the eve of May 9.<\/p>\n<p>On the pages of worn, yellowed with time triangle letters remained thoughts from what the soldiers experienced on the battlefield, their feelings for distant families. As a rule, these messages were short, but how they were awaited, these sparse lines!<\/p>\n<p>The funds of the State Archives of the Minsk Region also contain letters from the war years. They contain the courage of the defenders, confidence in victory over the enemy. From a letter from soldier <strong>Viktor Peturenko<\/strong> to his sister <strong>Nadezhda Drozdova<\/strong> (collection 1262 of the Minsk Region State Archives): <em>\u00abI inform you that I am alive today, and my health is also quite good. <\u2026> Of course, you don&#8217;t have to worry about me, since I am not alone in the Soviet Union. If I die, they will avenge me.
