On April 18, 2025, the International scientific and practical conference \u00abMemory of the Great Victory in Modern Historical Discourse (on the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War)\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the History Department of the Belarusian State University<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BSU).<\/p>\n

BSU First Vice-Rector Dmitry Miroslavovich Kurlovich<\/strong> and Dean of the History Department Alexander Gennadievich Kokhanovsky<\/strong> addressed the participants and guests of the conference with a welcoming speech. The list of honored guests included Director of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences Vadim Leonidovich Lakiza<\/strong> and Deputy Dean of the History Department of Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov Oksana Vyacheslavovna Solopova<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The following took part in the scientific part of the conference: Head of the Publications Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB), postgraduate student of the Faculty of History of BSU U.A.Kolobaeva<\/strong> (report \u00abOrganization of Partisan Life as One of the Factors in Carrying Out Cultural and Educational Work\u00bb); Leading Archivist of the Publications Department of the NARB, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor O.N.Borovskaya<\/strong> (report \u00abThe Polish-German Agreement Flew from the Non-Aggression of 1934 to the Development of Soviet-Polish Relations in 1934-1939\u00bb); Junior Researcher of the Publications Department of the NARB V.S.Monyak<\/strong> (report \u00abEveryday Life of the Minsk Ghetto in the Memories of the Children of Prisoners Abram Rubenchik and Sima Margolina\u00bb); Researcher of the Department of Use of Documents and Information of the NARB, postgraduate student of the Faculty of History of BSU Yu.S.Veremeychik<\/strong> (report \u00abIdeological changes in the image of Western countries in the Soviet press (1945-1949)\u00bb); leading archivist of the department of personal origin funds, postgraduate student of the history department of BSU T.I.Brileva<\/strong> (report \u00abResettlement of the Belarusian population from Poland to the Bobruisk and Mogilev regions in 1944-1947\u00bb); leading archivist of the department of automated archival technologies of NARB, postgraduate student of the history department of BSU E.A.Lukina<\/strong> (report \u00abPolitical Warfare Executive: organization of British military propaganda during the Second World War\u00bb).<\/p>\n

The conference was attended by more than 100 participants representing educational and scientific centers of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Kyrgyz Republic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
