As part of the republican campaign \u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong>, on April 16, 2025, a sightseeing tour for 2nd-year students of the educational institution \u00abMogilev State College of Arts\u00bb<\/strong> was held in the institution \u00abState Archives of the Mogilev Region\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the event, the students visited the archive storage, where they got acquainted with the features of storing documents, visited the document digitization laboratory, and the archive reading room. The archive staff introduced the students to the features of the work of archivists, the specifics of the documents stored in the archive.<\/p>\n

The students were also presented with a banner exhibition \u00abAgain, let’s look closer to the past\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War and the post-war restoration of the city of Mogilev.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, a screening of the documentary film \u00abThe History of the Great Victory\u00bb<\/strong> was held in the assembly hall of the archive. It was prepared by the institution \u00abBelarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents\u00bb<\/strong> with the participation of the Department of Archives and Records Management<\/strong>, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n
