On April 11, the International Day of Liberation of Prisoners of Fascist Concentration Camps<\/strong>, employees of the institution \u00abZonal State Archive in Zhlobin\u00bb<\/strong>, director Galina Anatolyevna Dudareva and archivist Irina Nikolaevna Eliseeva<\/strong>, took part in a dialogue platform dedicated to preserving the memory of those who survived unbearable trials during the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

The event was organized by public organizations OJSC \u00abBMZ-UKH \u00abBMK\u00bb<\/strong>. Representatives of the Zhlobin district organizations of the BRSM, Belarusian Union of Women, Belaya Rus, the Council of Veterans of the Zhlobin District<\/strong>, etc. were also invited to the meeting.<\/p>\n

Galina Anatolyevna spoke about the Ozarichi death camp<\/strong>, which was located in 1944 in the Domanovichi district of the Polesie region (now the Kalinkovichi district of the Gomel region). The concentration camp, which existed for only 10 days, took the lives of more than 20 thousand civilians.<\/p>\n

Irina Nikolaevna acquainted those present with the personal documents of the underage prisoner of Ozarichi, Parkhomenko G.G., which are carefully stored in the state archive of the city of Zhlobin.<\/p>\n

At the end of the speech, the archive staff presented the film \u00abPrisoners\u00bb<\/strong> prepared by the BGAKFFD<\/strong> for viewing. This touching and profound material left an indelible impression and became an important reminder of the importance of historical memory. <\/p>\n

The meeting ended with a visit to the memorial complex in memory of the victims of the Nazi concentration camp \u00abOzarichi\u00bb, where the participants of the meeting honored the innocent victims with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the mass grave.<\/strong><\/p>\n
