{"id":1018826,"date":"2025-04-09T16:10:31","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T13:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1018826"},"modified":"2025-04-09T16:10:31","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T13:10:31","slug":"on-the-occasion-of-cosmonautics-day-the-zonal-state-archives-in-novogrudok-held-meetings-with-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1018826","title":{"rendered":"On the occasion of Cosmonautics Day, the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok held meetings with students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the eve of <strong>Cosmonautics Day<\/strong>, as part of <strong>the Archives for School campaign<\/strong>, <strong>the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok <\/strong>held events dedicated to the memorable date of the first manned space flight \u2013 on April12, 1961, <strong>Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin<\/strong> made an orbital flight around planet Earth on the <strong>Vostok spacecraft<\/strong>, which lasted 108 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils of grades 5-6 of <strong>the secondary school \u21161 of Novogrudok<\/strong> got acquainted with a documentary stand exhibition in the reading room of the state archive, dedicated to the <strong>Cosmonautics Day<\/strong>, the documents and photographs of which tell about the history of the holiday, the first flights into space of Belarusian pilots-cosmonauts, as well as the development and achievements in the space industry at the present stage. Schoolchildren learned about the streets of the city of Novogrudok, named after famous cosmonauts.<\/p>\n<p>The documentary exhibition was also demonstrated in <strong>the secondary school \u21163 of Novogrudok named after V.G.Gakhovich<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the events, screenings of <strong>the film \u00abSpace is Ours\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared by <strong>the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents<\/strong>, were organized.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\"  width=\"100%\" cellpadding=\"5\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"gen_table\">\n<tr align='center'>\n<td align='center'><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1-62.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1067813\" class=\"wp-image-1067813 alignnone size-full\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align='center'>1.
