On April 4, 2025, the 24th International Scientific Conference \u00abBelarus and Germany: History and Modernity\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the Minsk State Linguistic University<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as MSLU<\/strong>), dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War. Leading experts in the history of the Great Patriotic War from Belarus, scientists from Russia and Kazakhstan took part in the conference.<\/p>\n

N.E.Lapteva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of MSLU<\/strong>, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech. She noted the importance of holding this forum as one of the main communication platforms on the history of the Great Patriotic War, and wished all participants interesting speeches and discussions.<\/p>\n

Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. in History. S.V.Kulinok<\/strong> made a report \u00abOn the issue of the number of exterminated population in the Trostenets death camp\u00bb<\/strong>. He also moderated the section \u00abThe Great Patriotic War: people – events – facts\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
