Sukhombaev of Grodno\u00bb as part of the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb campaign at the \u00abState Archives of the Grodno Region\u00bb institution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 2, 2025, as part of the <strong>\u00abArchives to School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, the <strong>\u00abState Archives of the Grodno Region\u00bb<\/strong> institution conducted 2 lessons on the topics <strong>\u00abState Archives of the Grodno Region: History and Modernity\u00bb<\/strong> and <strong>\u00abHistorical and Cultural Heritage of the Grodno Region\u00bb<\/strong> for 9th-grade students of the State Educational Institution <strong>\u00abSecondary School No.16 named after A.Sukhombaev of Grodno\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The archive staff introduced the students to a brief history of archival work in the region, told them about the main areas of the archive&#8217;s work and the sources of its acquisition, and also demonstrated the most interesting and valuable documentary materials stored in the archive&#8217;s archives, emphasizing their historical and cultural significance. The schoolchildren were also shown the documentary film <strong>\u00abLiberation\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared by <strong>the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> as part of the <strong>\u00abOpen Film Archive\u00bb<\/strong> project.<\/p>\n<p>During the tour of the archive, the students visited the laboratory for restoration, binding, and repair of documents, as well as the archive storage, where they received information about the storage conditions, composition, and content of documents stored in the State Archive of the Grodno Region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\"  width=\"100%\" cellpadding=\"5\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"gen_table\">\n<tr align='center'>\n<td align='center'><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1-16.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1067480\" class=\"wp-image-1067480 alignnone size-full\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align='center'>1.
