{"id":1018612,"date":"2025-03-26T16:34:58","date_gmt":"2025-03-26T13:34:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1018612"},"modified":"2025-03-26T16:34:58","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T13:34:58","slug":"keepers-of-historical-heritage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1018612","title":{"rendered":"Keepers of Historical Heritage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the <strong>\u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, on March 25, 2025, students of grade 6 \u00abA\u00bb of <strong>Gymnasium No.3 in Pinsk<\/strong> visited the institution <strong>\u00abZonal State Archive in Pinsk\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Natalia Kochergina, an archivist of the 1st category<\/strong>, gave a lecture on the topic: <strong>\u00abKeepers of Historical Heritage\u00bb<\/strong>. The children were told about the history of the archive, its structure, storage and use of archival documents. Particular attention was paid to the role of archives in preserving historical memory. During the lecture, it was emphasized that the documents stored in the archives are a valuable source of information for studying the history of our country, its culture and traditions.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the lecture, a sightseeing tour of the archive was held, where the students got acquainted with the features of storing documents. As part of <strong>the Open Film Archive project<\/strong>, the film <strong>Liberation of Brest<\/strong>, created by <strong>the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Archive<\/strong>, was shown.
