On March 21, 2025, as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, students of the Secondary School No.185 of Minsk<\/strong> went on an excursion to the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI). The visit to the archive-museum was not only an opportunity to touch the rich cultural heritage of Belarus, but also to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the ancient architecture of the building of the former Bernardine Church.<\/p>\n

The head of the Department of Information, Publication and Use of Documents V.V.Birulya<\/strong> introduced the schoolchildren to the modern functions of the archive. The children learned about the valuable collections of documents, personal letters and diaries of famous writers, artists and composers stored in BGAMLI.<\/p>\n

In the reading room of BGAMLI, students visited the exhibitions \u00abLife. With such cunning reasons…\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the national poet of Belarus Ryhor Baradulin<\/strong> and \u00abIn every look – love\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to International Women’s Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After the excursion, the schoolchildren shared their impressions and expressed gratitude to the staff of BGAMLI.<\/p>\n
