During the event, the children visited the new archive building.<\/p>\n<p>The excursion began with a visit to the archive storage facility, which has a modern fire protection system, climate control equipment to maintain certain storage conditions, a supply and exhaust unit with dehumidification, humidification and air purification functions, as well as special mobile shelving that protects documents from dust and light. Then the students visited the document digitization laboratory, where they learned about the document scanning process.<\/p>\n<p>The event ended in the archive assembly hall with a talk on the topic of <strong>\u00abThe Defense of Mogilev during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong> and a screening of the documentary film <strong>\u00abOperation Bagration\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared by <strong>the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong> (BSACFPD).
