On March 14, 2025, a ceremonial meeting of the staff, as well as a dialogue platform for students of the Belarusian State University<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BSU), dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>, was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as NARB).<\/p>\n

As part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, the youth activists of the BSU Faculty of History<\/strong> took part in the event.<\/p>\n

The director of the NARB A.K.Demyanyuk<\/strong> addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He noted the importance of preserving documentary sources about the history of the Basic Law of our country for future generations.<\/p>\n

Leading archivist, candidate of historical sciences V.G.Mazets<\/strong> gave a lecture \u00abThe Constitutional Process in Belarus: 1919 – 2022\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The event’s employees and guests were shown a video clip \u00abThe Constitution of My Country\u00bb<\/strong> prepared by the employees of the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Document Archive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A tour of the archive was organized for BSU students. Head of the Department of Personal Funds I.V.Dorogush<\/strong> spoke about the history, structure, and composition of documents in the archive’s funds and the possibilities of using them in writing research papers.<\/p>\n

During the tour, future archivists got acquainted with the archive’s publication and exhibition activities, visited the reading room, and the personal fund archive. As part of the event, they were presented with a photo documentary exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the first graduating class of BSU.<\/p>\n
