On March 15, a delegation of the leadership of the Central Archives of the Ministry of Defense<\/strong> (CAMD )of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> visited the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno<\/strong>. The visit was an important step in strengthening professional ties between the archives and exchanging experience in the field of introducing modern technologies, popularizing historical heritage and preserving the memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

The director of the Central Archive, Boris Gorkavy<\/strong>, noted the high qualifications of the archivists of Molodechno, their innovative approach in terms of using artificial intelligence and active work with young people. According to Boris Nikolaevich, the unification of the efforts of archivists, the introduction of modern technologies and active interaction with society are the key to preserving historical memory for future generations, plays a key role in popularizing the documents of the National Archival Fund.<\/p>\n

In turn, the director of the Zonal Archive, Inna Pudakevich<\/strong>, expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation. She attached particular importance to the prospect of obtaining digital copies of the personal files of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War of the Molodechno land, whose contribution to the defense of the Motherland is an important part of historical memory.<\/p>\n

The CAMD employees were given a presentation on the activities of the zonal state archive in Molodechno, as well as a sightseeing tour of the institution. The visit ended with a visit to the Stalag-342 memorial complex<\/strong>, which this year celebrates the 30th anniversary of its construction.<\/p>\n

The participants laid flowers and honored the memory of the deceased prisoners with a minute of silence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
