From March 12 to 16, 2025, the XXXII Minsk International Book Fair<\/strong> was held in the capital of Belarus. The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as NARB) took an active part in the event.<\/p>\n

On March 12, a presentation of the book by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor A.M. Litvin \u00abBelarusian Partisans\u00bb<\/strong> took place. The publication uses numerous archival documents from the funds of the NARB and the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents<\/strong>. Deputy Director of the NARB, PhD in History S.V. Kulinok<\/strong> spoke at the presentation. He noted the importance of publishing generalizing works on the history of the partisan movement, taking into account the use of new archival documents, and also noted the close cooperation of the NARB and the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Director of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents A.N.Gonchar<\/strong> spoke about the work on preparing illustrative materials for the said publishing project, and also noted the importance of the book for the national historiography of the history of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

On the same day, another presentation of the book \u00abBelarusian Partisans\u00bb took place – in the House of Moscow in Minsk. Director of the NARB A.K.Demyanyuk<\/strong> spoke about the use of partisan documents of the archive in publishing and cultural and educational projects and events.<\/p>\n

On March 13, a presentation of the collection of documents \u00abWithout Statute of Limitations. Belarus\u00bb took place, which tells about the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population in the occupied territory of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War. Deputy Director of the NARB, PhD in History S.V. Kulinok spoke about the preparation of this publication, the composition of the documents in the book and the joint work of the archive and the publishing house \u00abBelarus\u00bb.<\/p>\n

On March 14, the presentation of the book \u00abSons of Bashkortostan in the Battles for Belarus\u00bb<\/strong> took place. Deputy Director of NARB S.V.Kulinok spoke about the preparation of this publication, and also gave examples of heroic biographies of Bashkiria natives in the battles for Belarus.<\/p>\n
