On March 4, 2025, as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign and the upcoming 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the \u00abState Archives of the Mogilev Region\u00bb<\/strong> institution took part in a curatorial hour for 1st-year students of the accounting faculty and 2nd-year students of the economics faculty of the educational institution \u00abBelarusian State Order of the October Revolution and the Red Banner of Labor Agricultural Academy\u00bb in Gorki<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The leading archivist of the department of scientific use of documents and information Alexey Shvyryov<\/strong> acquainted the students with the history of archival work in the Mogilev region, the specifics of the work of archivists, and the archival funds of the institution.<\/p>\n

Then the audience was presented with a presentation \u00abThe history of the partisan movement in the documents of personal origin funds\u00bb<\/strong>. Students learned about the founders of the partisan movement and the most interesting documents from their personal collections.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, a documentary film \u00abPartisan Republic\u00bb<\/strong> was shown, prepared by the institution \u00abBelarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents\u00bb<\/strong> (Dzerzhinsk). The film contains unique footage of the daily life of partisan detachments and units, which remained behind the scenes for a long time.<\/p>\n

During the curator’s hour, students were able to ask all the questions they were interested in.<\/p>\n
