In Vitebsk, the winners of the city and regional stages of the Republican competition \u00abWoman of the Year – 2024\u00bb<\/strong>, which is held by the Public Association (PA) \u00abBelarusian Union of Women\u00bb<\/strong>, were honored.<\/p>\n

An employee of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region – Raisa Nikolaevna Yanushkevich became the winner in the nomination \u00abVeterans do not grow old in soul\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Raisa Nikolaevna joined the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region in 2002, from where she retired, having received the proud title of \u00abVeteran of Labor\u00bb. Total length of service in the archive is more than 22 years.<\/p>\n

In 2007, she joined the Belarusian Union of Women (BUW), where she has been involved in community work for 18 years.<\/p>\n

A regular participant in regional and national events of the BUW: \u00abOur Children\u00bb, \u00abLet’s Pack a School Bag\u00bb, \u00abChristmas Purse\u00bb, \u00abMom’s Pies\u00bb for conscripts of the 103rd Brigade of Vitebsk (annually); the Belarusian-Russian project \u00abTrain of Memory\u00bb (2019), Days of Spiritual Culture of Russia in Belarus (2024), the Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus (2024), the Marathon of Unity (2024), etc.<\/p>\n

An active assistant in the preparation of monthly spiritual meetings of BUW members with representatives of Orthodox churches in Vitebsk. Captain of the BUW team \u00abVasilinki\u00bb, which takes an active part in city sports festivals among veteran organizations. She was the initiator of the campaign to collect things to help the wards of the State Institution of Social Services \u00abSelyutsky Psychoneurological Boarding House \u00abTerritory of Good\u00bb\u00ab and the State Institution \u00abVitebsk Social Boarding House \u00abNa Dvina\u00bb, the day care department for the disabled of the State Institution \u00abTerritorial Center for Social Services of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk\u00bb.<\/p>\n
