On February 27, 2025, as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, a meeting was held in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> with members of the memorial detachment of Post No.1, which carries the Honorary Watch of Memory at the Eternal Flame on Victory Square<\/strong>. This time, the archive was visited by 25 students of the Specialized Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The director of the archive, Andrei Konstantinovich Demyanyuk<\/strong>, delivered a welcoming speech to the students.<\/p>\n

As part of the meeting, the children were given a tour of the archive. Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush, head of the department of personal origin funds<\/strong>, spoke about its history, composition and features of document storage, the work of the archive in the field of publication and exhibition activities. During the tour, the students got acquainted with the exhibition \u00abBerezinsky Reserve: 100 years of preserving the future\u00bb. The students visited the archive of partisan formations. I.V. Dorogush gave a talk on the history of the partisan movement and introduced the students to the personal files of the command staff of partisan detachments and brigades, award sheets, photo albums and other documents.<\/p>\n

March 4 is an annual professional holiday – Belarusian Militia Day, which was approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko dated March 26, 1998 No.157. For the students of the lyceum, the archive staff I.V.Dorogush<\/strong> and T.I.Brileva<\/strong> prepared a set of documents on the history of the formation and development of various structures of the internal affairs bodies of our republic, which aroused keen interest among the children.<\/p>\n
