On February 25, the National Library of Belarus<\/strong> hosted the grand opening of the documentary exhibition \u00abThrough Captivity\u00bb for the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945<\/strong>. The exhibition project was presented as part of the visit of the delegation of the Sverdlovsk Region to the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.N.Kot<\/strong> and First Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region A.V.Shmykov<\/strong> addressed the participants of the event with welcoming words.<\/p>\n

The tour of the exhibition was conducted by the Director of the State Archive of Administrative Bodies of the Sverdlovsk Region O.V.Selezneva<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by members of the delegation of the Sverdlovsk Region, heads of republican archival institutions, employees of the NARB, schoolchildren from sponsored schools, and representatives of the media.<\/p>\n

A sightseeing tour of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> with a visit to the storage facilities of personal collections and military documents was conducted for the delegation of archivists from the Sverdlovsk Region (Head of the Archives Department of the Sverdlovsk Region R.S.Taraborin<\/strong> and Director of the State Archives of the Administrative Bodies of the Sverdlovsk Region O.V.Selezneva<\/strong>). The guests were introduced to the process of digitizing archival documents and were shown a chronicle of wartime.<\/p>\n

The Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L.Voinov<\/strong> made a report on the work of the archival industry of the Republic of Belarus to the participants of the meeting.<\/p>\n

Head of the Archives Department of the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Law R.S.Taraborin<\/strong> presented a report on the \u00abArchival Service of the Sverdlovsk Region\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The meeting ended with the signing of a Plan of joint activities for the development of cooperation between archival institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation for 2025-2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n
