On February 24, 2025, on the day of the 90th anniversary of the people’s poet of Belarus Ryhor Borodulin<\/strong>, the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) presented the literary and documentary exhibition \u00abLife. With such cunning reasons\u2026\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by fans of Borodulin’s work, students, researchers, literary scholars and his friends. The director of BGAMLI Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko<\/strong> addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.<\/p>\n

The exhibition curator, leading archivist Natalia Mizon<\/strong>, emphasized the exhibition concept \u2013 the selected documents show the personality of the famous poet both in the cultural context of the society of the time and through the philosophy of his relationships with family and friends.<\/p>\n

The invited speakers shared personal stories that connect them with Ryhor Ivanovich. Researcher of the Borodulin family archive Natalia Davydenko<\/strong> spoke about the many years of work on the publication of the poet’s \u00abJournals and Notes\u00bb and donated to the BGAML funds the recently published book \u00abPiastachki\u00bb, as well as preparatory materials for it. Journalist, photojournalist, literature researcher Sergei Shapran<\/strong> shared his memories of meetings with the people’s poet. The editor-in-chief of the magazine \u00abRodnae Slova\u00bb Natalia Shapran<\/strong> presented to the public new research on the life and work of R.I.Borodulin, which was prepared for the February issue of the magazine for the poet\u2019s 90th anniversary.<\/p>\n

The event was decorated with songs based on the poems of Rygor Borodulin performed by the bard Ales Kamotsky<\/strong>, a friend of the poet, and the director of the Student Creativity Center, the head of the people\u2019s literary theater \u00abZhyvoye Slova\u00bb Alesya Sivokhina<\/strong>. The participants of the event tried to restore the elusive world of feelings and moods that the famous poet lived by.<\/p>\n
