As part of the republican campaign \u00abArchives – to School\u00bb<\/strong> on February 17, 2025, a thematic lesson \u00abAfghanistan in the destinies of our fellow countrymen\u00bb<\/strong> was organized for students of grades 6, 10 of the State Educational Institution \u00abSkrygalovskaya Secondary School of the Mozyr District\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the lesson, the children got acquainted with the events of the Afghan war, the exploits and heroism of Soviet soldiers. Archivist Suponenko Yu.M.<\/strong> acquainted students with the memoirs and personal documents of participants in military operations in Afghanistan, which are stored in the institution \u00abZonal State Archive in Mozyr\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The students were also shown a virtual exhibition \u00abAfghanistan: No Right to Be Forgotten\u00bb<\/strong>, prepared by the staff of the archival institution as part of the celebration of the 36th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
