On the eve of the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Soldiers<\/strong>, a series of events were held in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as NARB).<\/p>\n

On February 13, 2025, a ceremonial meeting of the NARB staff with a participant in the war in Afghanistan, A.K.Alin<\/strong>, took place. The speaker shared his memories of those events and answered questions from archivists. A documentary film was also screened as part of the meeting.<\/p>\n

On February 14, 2025, the ideological activists and employees of the NARB took part in a rally and the laying of flowers at the memorial \u00abIsland of Courage and Sorrow\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to the Belarusian internationalist soldiers who died in Afghanistan in 1979-1989. The event was attended by members of the primary public organizations \u00abBelaya Rus\u00bb, \u00abBRSM\u00bb and young specialists of the archive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On February 15, 2025, NARB Chief Engineer V.A.Baranov<\/strong> will take part in official events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Soldiers.<\/p>\n
