From January 24 to 27, 2025, the Information Center of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> was held in the Palace of the Republic<\/strong>. It was created to quickly inform the media and observers from other countries about the progress of the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus: press conferences, briefings of the CEC leadership and missions of international observers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As part of the work of the Information Center, a documentary exhibition dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the development of the electoral system of Belarus was ceremonially opened<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The project was organized by the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the Presidential Library of the Republic of Belarus, the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus and the Museum of Modern Belarusian Statehood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus presented unique archival documents at the exhibition, telling about various aspects of the electoral system, electoral law, political processes, the election campaign, as well as documents related to the first presidential elections in 1994. The results of the upcoming election campaign are of key importance for every citizen, society and the state as a whole.<\/p>\n

During its work, the Central Electoral Commission staff, numerous media representatives, foreign (international) observers and invited guests were introduced to the documentary exhibition.<\/p>\n
