On December 24, 2024, an event was held at the Gomel State Polytechnic College<\/strong> – a round table \u00abInstitute of Presidential Power – the formation of Belarusian statehood and national security\u00bb<\/strong>, in which the director of the archive Yuri Shestopalov<\/strong> took part. The purpose of the event is to tell college students about the fateful significance of the Institute of Presidency for our country, as well as about elections as an integral part of modern statehood. Answering the children’s questions about the achievements of the sovereign Republic of Belarus over the past decades, the director of the archive especially emphasized the importance of the participation of the younger generation in the political life of the country. He also said that Belarus has formed its own unique model of democracy, which ensures the sovereignty and independence of our state thanks to the wise and balanced policy of our President. The event was attended by students who will take part in the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the first time. The children showed great interest in the topic of the round table and asked many questions.<\/p>\n
