On December 24, 2024, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as NARB) together with the National Library of Belarus<\/strong> opened a book and documentary exhibition \u00abOur Choice is Our Future!\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2025, an important and significant socio-political event will take place in our country – the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the central section of the exhibition dedicated to the first President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko<\/strong>, NARB presented documents related to the first presidential elections and the formation of the electoral system in sovereign Belarus.<\/p>\n

The exposition introduces current publications on various aspects of the electoral system, electoral law, political processes, the history of presidential elections in our republic, and the current life of the country. The results of the upcoming election campaign are of key importance for every citizen, society and the state as a whole. It is important to know and celebrate now those important achievements that have occurred in recent years. The thematic section \u00abCountry on the Eve of Elections\u00bb offers a selection of publications on the current political, economic, cultural situation in Belarus, international cooperation and other areas. The Republic of Belarus has not only preserved, but also enriched its potential, relying primarily on its own intellectual and production resources, using all possible external sources for development.<\/p>\n

The main provisions on the holding of presidential elections and the procedure for their holding are determined by the Constitution and the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus. These documents and a number of other materials devoted to the organizational and legal issues of preparing and holding elections, as well as election technologies and companies in general, can be seen in the section \u00abElectoral System of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Participation in elections is a manifestation of an active civic position and an indicator of a person’s high political culture<\/strong>. Presidential elections predetermine the future of our country for the coming years and the directions of its further development.<\/p>\n
